Sigh.Erin OKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00136435853173515115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4100713229623155419.post-11836867025449213232011-11-18T19:14:36.262-05:002011-11-18T19:14:36.262-05:00Interesting perspective particularly on situations...Interesting perspective particularly on situations like "it might rain so our beach trip might get cancelled." I of course don't have children yet but I say similar things to myself because I get excited over silly things like going to the beach, or a family get together. So I always try to avoid getting my hopes up by remembering that it might not follow through. I do it in an attempt to prepare myself for disappointment so that it's easier if things don't work out. However, most of the time things DO go just fine so I'm adding negativity for no reason. And honestly, in situations where our plans fall through i'm still disappointed even if I had attempted to prepare myself. So there's really no purpose in the negativity.Emily Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650190697265763289noreply@blogger.com
